HiTMAN: 2D is a top-down 2d action/stealth game in development, based on the famous Hitman game series about an assassin clone, codename 47.
The game will expand on codename 47's clone "brother", codename 17. The general game play will be similiar to the original hitman games.
HiTMAN: 2D will feature photo-realistic textures, static radiosity shadow maps, dynamic object shadows, particle effects, 2.0 shaders and rigid body physics.
The game along with the source code is available free of charge.
If you have any questions you can check out the official thread on hitmanforum.com. This thread is currently locked, but it will get unlocked as soon as I release the next demo.
